Your future tasks:

  • To be the lead Cabin Interiors and Aircraft Specification expert within Condor and the Fleet Management team. Focal point of contact for any cabin / specification commercial and contractual related discussions.
  • Develop and manage the strategic specifications for aircraft cabin layouts, working closely with internal stakeholder within Product Management, Cabin Service, Flight Operations, Engineering amongst others to ensure alignment with operational and commercial requirements.
  • Act as the leader responsible for the management, coordination, and facilitation of meetings and projects related to aircraft cabin conversions and adaptations.
  • Oversee projects related to converting existing aircraft cabins and designing specifications for potential future models.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all cabin modifications and investments adhere to contractual requirements and industry standards, particularly in relation to leasing companies, aircraft manufacturers and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead the team responsible for performing regular aircraft inspections before delivery and throughout the aircraft's life-cycle, ensuring internal standards are being complied with.
  • If required, support the team that participates in aircraft deliveries (both for new and used aircraft) with a focus on specialising in cabin equipment and standards.
  • Collaboration and if necessary, responsible for the creation of cabin operational documentation.

Your profile with a passion for aviation:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering or Aviation Management (3rd level qualification) and minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant department within an airline, aircraft lessor, or aerospace company.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in airline and aircraft cabin interiors and systems.
  • Proven track record in commercial aircraft negotiations, particularly with aircraft OEMs, cabin interior suppliers, aircraft lessors, and engineering companies.
  • Hands-on experience in managing aircraft cabin retrofit and conversion programs and expertise in preparing and managing aircraft specifications, both externally with aircraft manufacturers and financiers, and internally within the organisation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and foster collaboration and proven ability to manage change, drive decision-making, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Highly analytical, structured, and solution-oriented, with a strong conceptual approach to complex problems.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a focus on efficiency and timely delivery and fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU, current, unrestricted worldwide passport and willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, as required by the role.
